Life Group Overview

Monday Night:
Group: Summer Park Days
Who: Families
Leader: Sara Vander Velde
Time: Mondays 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Start date: Monday, June 9, 2025
Location: Pleasant Park
Each week, a family (or small group) will host an hour-long program for kids in the neighborhood. It can be at the park or a parking lot.  We will use the themes of VBS and take a month to cover a theme. This allows families to serve in our neighborhood, and for visiting kids to begin exploring biblical themes in a consistent way.

Leaders: Stacy Jenkins and Pastor Phil
Time: Tuesdays 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Start Date: Tuesday, June 17, 2025
Location: Gathering Room
This group will focus on the simple and powerful stories of bold and courageous faith lived out in the bible.  Be ready to be challenged to take your faith to the next level. This group will be a powerful time of studying God’s word, having conversations of life change, and coffee!

The Purple Book is a Bible study guide designed to help believers know and apply the essential beliefs of Christianity. It will help you to gain a solid faith foundation that the enemy cannot dismantle! It will help you apply the Bible to your everyday life, and it will help you discover that your faith has true power to change lives! This is a pilot Life Group to prepare other Purple Book groups to form. It will be part of our core curriculum in the New Believers/Baptism Track. This would be a great group for you if: 1) you want to grow in the essentials of faith, or 2) you want to be part of discipling others with this material in the future!
